The Stitch Bar solera system, a method involving a stack of small oak barrels connected with brass pipes, was created to produce Stitch's unique vatted American Whiskey. Originating from Spanish and Portuguese practices, this system blends selected American whiskies that mature in six oak barrels infused with flavors ranging from Sherry to Rye whiskey. This process imparts diverse flavor profiles, resulting in a sophisticated blend of young and old whiskies, offering depth and complexity. Once matured, the whiskey is used in classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned and Manhattans.
